STERNTALER, one of Germany's most trusted children's fashion brands, required a manufacturing partner capable of producing diverse product categories — from delicate newborn accessories to durable kids' outerwear — while maintaining strict European safety standards and consistent quality across seasonal collections of 50,000+ pieces.

Our Solution

We leveraged our dual-factory capability to serve STERNTALER's full product range. Tonglu Jimei Knitting produces their knitted hats, beanies, and mittens using computerized flat knitting machines, while Hunan Tongmei Garment handles cut-and-sew items including fabric hats, baby clothing, and kids' garments using automatic cutting and spreading machines. Our dedicated QC team conducts 100% inspection on all baby items, with AQL 2.5 for kids' products.

LPP S.A., the parent company of Reserved — one of Central Europe's largest fashion retail chains with 1,900+ stores across 40 countries — needed a reliable accessories supplier capable of delivering large-volume orders with fast turnaround, competitive pricing, and trend-responsive designs that could keep pace with their rapid seasonal cycles.

Our Solution

We established a streamlined production pipeline at Tonglu Jimei Knitting specifically for LPP's accessory program. Our design team works closely with Reserved's buying office to develop trend-aligned collections 6 months ahead of season. By utilizing our full range of computerized flat knitting machines (3GG to 14GG), we produce everything from chunky cable-knit beanies to fine-gauge scarves within a single production facility, simplifying logistics and quality control.

LE PETIT SOUK, a French luxury children's accessories brand, sought a manufacturer with expertise in premium angora (rabbit hair) blend knitting — a specialized skill requiring precise temperature control, specific machine settings, and careful fiber handling to achieve the signature soft, fluffy texture their brand is known for, without compromising on ethical sourcing standards.

Our Solution

Our Tonglu Jimei Knitting facility has extensive experience with angora blend yarns, having developed specialized knitting programs that optimize the fiber's natural loft and softness. We worked with LE PETIT SOUK to source ethically harvested angora from certified suppliers, developed custom yarn blends (angora/wool/nylon) for optimal durability, and created sample collections that matched their exacting quality standards. Each piece undergoes hand-finishing to ensure the characteristic fluffy texture.

The Challenge

SKOGSTAD, a Norwegian outdoor brand with over 80 years of heritage, required knitted hats that could withstand harsh Scandinavian winters while maintaining a modern, stylish appearance. Their specifications demanded high wool content for natural warmth, excellent moisture-wicking properties, and construction that would hold up to active outdoor use in sub-zero temperatures.

Our Solution

We developed specialized wool and wool-blend knitting programs at Tonglu Jimei Knitting tailored to SKOGSTAD's performance requirements. Using fine-gauge computerized flat knitting machines, we produce dense, wind-resistant knit structures with high wool content (50-100% wool compositions). Our R&D team tested multiple yarn compositions to find the optimal balance of warmth, breathability, and durability for Nordic conditions.

Intersport, Europe's leading sporting goods retailer with 5,800+ stores across 57 countries, needed a knitted hat supplier who could deliver sport-oriented beanies in various material compositions — from 100% merino wool for premium lines to 50/50 wool/polyester and wool/acrylic blends for value-oriented ranges — all while maintaining consistent quality and meeting the volume demands of a pan-European retail network.

Our Solution

We developed a flexible production approach at Tonglu Jimei Knitting that allows us to switch between different yarn compositions efficiently. For Intersport's premium line, we use 100% merino wool with jersey knit construction. For their mid-range offerings, we produce 50% wool / 50% polyester blends that balance warmth with easy-care properties. The value line uses 50% wool / 50% acrylic for cost-effective warmth. All compositions undergo the same rigorous quality control process.
